It is the local centre for anyone who wants help with alcohol (however much you drink – from advice about healthy drinking to full treatment for alcohol dependence). It is the centre for help with any drug misuse (misuse of prescription drugs, illicit drug use, etc).

Al-Anon

Al-Anon is there for anyone whose life is or has been affected by someone else’s drinking. Al-Anon is about helping you to find solace with and support from others who have been affected by their relationship with a drinker. A local group meets every Thursday evening in off Princess Parkway.

JNR8 Youth & Community Centre, Whalley Range

One-to-one support and mentoring, cooking workshops for healthy eating and other youth projects for people aged 11–18 years. Support for whatever issues you may have, including relationships, homelessness, drugs and alcohol and behaviour.
